IWEA Annual Meeting - Indiana WEA

IWEA Annual Meeting

Friday, Nov 30 @ 09:00 AM to 01:30 PM

Please join us for our year-end presentation from the IWEA where we’ll offer updates on two important topics that affect members across the state as well as the opportunity to participate in our annual meeting to elect officers to our 2019 board of directors.

Long-Term CSO Compliance – Are You Certain Your Utility Can Comply?
The first presentation will include information on recent EPA guidance and standards that could be adopted to help document CSO compliance and what it may take to get the revisions adopted. Technical aspects of current compliance goals, as well as, future technical specifications will be reviewed and discussed. The presenters will provide an update on current and future legislative efforts that may affect communities throughout Indiana and how these may impact capital improvement projects and the operational requirements of current and future facilities.

The Indiana QA/QC Manual for Wastewater Laboratories
The second presentation will include information on the new edition of the Indiana QA/QC Manual for Wastewater Laboratories. This 25-minute session will introduce the new Manual, explain the revision and approval processes, highlight the new additions, and examine the contents of the overall Manual. This presentation is geared toward all wastewater managers, engineers, operators, and analysts. Through this presentation, wastewater professionals will be acclimated with the new Manual and understand how to utilize the information and apply it to the betterment of their own operations.
