The Indiana Water Environment Association is dedicated to preserving and protecting Indiana's waterways through educating our members and the citizens of Indiana about the importance of our water environment.
Seven teams competed against one another on May 10th at the 2016 Wastewater Challenge at the Angola WWTP for the coveted prize of attending WEFTEC to represent Indiana at the national competition. It was fierce competition in the 5 different committee challenges but the Wastewater Wranglers from South Bend came out on top in first place. Second place went to a team that was created on the spot the morning of the challenge between two folks from Columbus and two from Brownsburg who called themselves Mellow Yellow. Third place went to the S(Q)WAT team from Clay Township.
