The Editorial, Public Communication & Outreach (EPCO) Committee has two major responsibilities:
If you have any questions about the committee, would like to get involved, or would like to submit an article for consideration in The Digester, please contact the Editorial, Public Communication & Outreach Chair or Co-Chair. You may also reach out for general inquiries here.
The Editorial Committee reviews submitted articles for the Digester on a quarterly basis. The committee will set the standard, theme and holds all rights as to which articles are released in the magazine. IWEA offers a variety of ways to showcase the innovative products, cutting-edge research and revolutionary technology that is shaping the wastewater industry. The IWEA Editorial Committee is interested in receiving professional articles to be considered for this quarterly magazine. If you would like to submit an article for consideration, please click the button below.
The EPCO committee puts together a flip calendar showcasing wastewater treatment plants throughout Indiana. WWTPs interested in being part of the calendar, or companies wishing to become a calendar sponsor, please contact the Co-Chair.
To fill our the IWEA Calendar Spotlight Questionnaire please see below. You may fill out the PDF form and send it to Maithilee Das Lappin or submit the online form!
The EPCO committee provides kids of all ages an opportunity to paint a rain barrel that will eventually get auctioned off at the Annual IWEA conference. All of the proceeds go to Water for People. If you have a class who would be interested in participating, please contact Teddy Deahl.
The EPCO committee attends as many Indiana science fairs as possible to judge and present awards to water-related projects. Please contact Teddy Deahl or Maithilee Das Lappin if you would like to get more involved.
