The Government Affairs Committee monitors activities of and represents the association’s membership before IDEM, the Indiana General Assembly, EPA and Congress. The committee keeps IWEA members informed and involved in changes in regulations or laws that may affect them. The committee monitors and participates in IDEM workgroups, distributes information on EPA activities through the WEF Government Affairs Committee and disseminates information to IWEA members on what’s happening at IDEM and the EPA.
