Collection Systems Exam Portal

Thank you for your interest in the Collection Systems Operation Certification Exam. Below is important information about the program as well as an application. Once your application is submitted, you will receive an automatic email response indicating the application has been received. You will receive a confirmation email no later than one to two weeks before your exam date with important information for the day of your exam.

Information Needed to Complete the Application:

  • Completed Application Form (below)
  • Verification of your post-high school education/certifications
  • $70 non-refundable deposit for class I and II or $80.00 non-refundable deposit for class III & IV
    • If you are not an IWEA member, you will be charged an additional $55.00 for a full year of IWEA membership. Your membership will take effect after you complete your exam.
    • An additional $60 is added to the deposit total as an administration fee, should you choose to take your exam through PSI.
  • Supervisor’s verification (This will be sent directly to your supervisor’s email upon completion of your application)

IWEA also offers exams through our partnership with the testing services PSI. You can find their locations here. To view their locations, select the exam and level you wish to take. Then click CONTINUE. Use the search provided to look by city, state, or zip code. 

Please note: Electing to take your exam via a PSI testing center will incur an additional $60 administration fee.

Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Review Course

Alliance of Indiana Rural Water is pleased to offer exam review courses as preparation for individuals planning to take the Indiana certification exam for I-SP, Class I, II & III municipal certifications or the industrial certifications A-SO, Class B, C and D. We also offer courses specifically for operators who are sitting for the Wastewater Collections Systems exams offered through IWEA.
