The IWEA Laboratory Committee is offering a 2-day microscopy workshop this October 9th and 10th at Spring Hill Envision Center, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Our presenter, Toni Glymph-Martin, will take us through the journey of wastewater microbiology and process control, identification and control of filamentous bacteria, how to use microbiology to monitor nutrient removal- and much more!

The 2-day session is 8am – 3pm (EST), lunches will be provided.
Sign-in will begin at 7:30am.
This is a hands on workshop and you will need to bring your own microscope.
Bring a sample from your facility and learn to identify your microbiology!
Instructor: Toni Glymph-Martin, Environmental Microbiologist at Wastewater Microbiology Solutions LLC
Toni Glymph-Martin has considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of environmental science as it relates to water quality monitoring and regulations; water and wastewater treatment; and environmental research. She has spent 27 years of her career working in public utilities and have worked 15 years as an environmental regulator. Her experience provides her with a unique perspective and a thorough understanding of the issues and challenges of both the regulated community and regulating agencies. She has more than 43 years of water quality related experience.
